Staffordshire’s manufacturing sector will celebrate the ‘Made in Staffordshire Conference’ on Thursday 9 November 2017.
Sponsored by Keele University, this event will bring together manufacturing firms from across the county, showcasing some of Staffordshire’s world class manufacturers and the crucial role they play in the creation of jobs, wealth and a healthy economy.
This event will focus on areas such as accessing new markets, waste reduction and maximising innovation. Speakers at the event will include Stone Computers, the UK’s largest privately-owned IT Manufacturer & Distributor. They are also the only IT manufacturer with onsite facilities for the treatment of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive) – services provided for both buying and non-buying clients.
Delegates will also hear from Michelin Tyre plc who have been at the heart of the North Stafffordshire business community for 90 years and acts as Michelin’s UK headquarters and its global headquarters of Michelin Lifestyle – the manufacturer’s licensing operation.
Support organisations will also be available on the day to offer advice to manufacturers to help them to access a range of support from funding, training, mentoring and specialist advice.
This event is open to Manufacturing and Engineering firms only and will start with registration and a buffet lunch at 1pm and should be drawn to a close at 4:30pm.
