Keeping up to date in an ever-changing business world is tricky!
Regulations change. Laws change. Business attitudes change.
And then there are those things outside the business that have an impact inside the business, like the environment.
In some cases, not keeping up to date doesn’t bring with it major consequences. But in other cases, the consequences of not being up to date could be dire on both the personal and business levels.
The problem is, how do you know if you are up to date? How can you find out what you don’t know?
One way to do that is to attend the FREE workshops in the Keeping up to Scratch theme during the Business Support Day of the Festival on November 8th. Covering a wide range of topics, what will be covered will include:
- Staffordshire Fire & Rescue: Fire safety – Regulatory reform fire safety 2005
- Waterplus: Water Management & Water efficiency
- Towergate Insurance: A bit of TLC – Towergate Local Care: Insurance protection when you need it most
- West Midlands CTU: Project Griffin: Protect yourself, your staff, your business and your community
These workshops represent a great way of helping you to keep up to date and therefore potentially helping you to avoid any unpleasant consequences in the future.
The Keeping up to Scratch theme is one of the many themes of workshops that are being held on the Festival’s Business Support Day on November 8th. You can find out more about those themes and workshops here and book your place here.
